Outdoor Hose Report: Lightening the Silver Hosed Lining
Took the metro and went through places with large crowds. I didn't notice any unusual sightings, but just took stand in between cabins or at places where there are available standing spots, since the metro was a little packed at this timing.
Reached this place during lunch hour but since I was already there, after walking through crowds, and waited at a crowded trafffic junction. Took a normal paced crossing an didn''t bother if the opposite pedestrians were taking any second glances to me.
I decided to explore to my heart's content and settle for a late lunch since I might not be able to finish it early if I came by later. Since stairways were all shut, I managed to use the still operating elevator to get to the famous deck area, where I saw many folks paying this place a visit. Walked around, passing folks in broad daylight in these pale shaded hose and did what I had to do.
After I was done with exploration, I took the crossing to another busy area, to have a late lunch. Since there wasn't anything much to choose from here, I moved on after doing a brief stopover to arrange my bags' content. Meal seeking folks were busy so one actually took a second at me.
Found the place I wanted to eat, having to cross the same road twice since I had to drop by an ATM to reload. Crowds of shoppers were busy minding their own business and it didn't occur as an issue for me to be in these offskin shade hose in the area. After eating, I decided to hunt for some clothes at a ladies' range, since I needed some legwear for my exercise regime, as the regular brand I patronized, didn't have much choices. I had to get something to find the right fit before committing further patronizing.
After rummaging through the sports section for thee legwear, I wasn't confident that the small size will fit me, hence I decided to visit the next outlet via foot, since it was within the same district. Walked through the busy streets, crossing through large crowds at junctions and walking through the main pavement where my hosed legs are put in full view, especially for those sitting at benches made along the pavement.
Went though the selection in this range, while other female shoppers minded their own business. Found what I needed, made my payment before heading off to meet partner in the area.
Accompanied her to browse what she wanted, walking through crowds of female shoppers, without worrying about who's gonna look.
After we were done, dined and made our way back, walking through more crowds before getting out bus. Partner had commented about my legs looking very fair, but I shared teh basics about hosing out is how good (or bad) attire shade - hose combination makes a difference.
Long and fruitful day indeed. Home James. Hosed Mission Successful.

Outdoor Hose Report: Silvery Smoky Pearl
Today's challenge is to hose out in an offskintone shade, at a busy district. Hence, I managed to hose out in Smoky Pearl Propeds Sheer Supports, after locating a washroom which was quite a walk away.
Walked through various clusters of office workers, to the metro station and found myself a seat when I landed in the direct line to the direction towards home. As it was a mid morning, I decided to settle for an early lunch at a nearby heartland town. This type of place will be known for the crowdedness as heartlanders are out running errands. Had my meal at a nearby eatery (hosed legs were nowhere to hide) and then I headed to the world of books where I can write these to for the morning.
Feels good to be free and hosing out with confidence like this for an early morning.
More to be updated later.

Outdoor Hose Report: Glossing it Light
Since partner is not going to be back this early, I decided to bring some work to a nearby cafe, and showing those hosed legs in a more shimmery way. Hence, I slipped into a pair of Bonas glossy pantyhose in a light skintone shade, (#3), which does nothing but flattering those legs with a hint of gloss. It was an unexpected gloss hose acquisition as nothing was mentioned in the packaging as it being glossier than regular types.
Ordered my drink and sat while working on my laptop, but prior to this, I had taken a few hosed legs shots using a small camera; pictures will be availed shortly.
Relocated myself to a more comfortable seat, after some patrons have left; it was relatively empty since it's a weekday evening, so it's a good thing.
While working at this comfortable seat, the double rolled Uniqlo twill shorts rode up to above half thigh height, while the warm light above enhanced the shine of those hosed legs. A few patrons came on short visits and left soon beside me, but I guess no one took a second look at those hosed legs (based on my visual radar).
It was until the juice in my laptop had ran dried, was when I decided to go back. Afterall, I have an early appointment so I packed up earlier and left. Deliberately exited from the side of a studeent couple who were seated beside me for the longest duration so far. If they spotted my hosed legs, the better, if not so be it.

Outdoor Hose Report: Assimating the Hosed Devil Part 1: Fuming it Grey
Had a hair-free leg maintenance done and took a selection between the Chocolate and Fume shade; decided on the latter as former doesn't look that brown to me; there's a green hue in the yarn but for some reasons, Propeds flagged it as Chocolate. Slipped into the Fume shade Sheer Supports and matched off with my favourite slimcut grey berms, double folded to maximize that confidence when I'm out, with the pair of Weinbrienner walking shoes.
Took a regular walk to lunch out before heading to the next crowded destination; a shopping mall, where the shade and courage will be put to the test. Ordered lunch after passing some patrons in the eatery, whom seemed oblivious to my hosed shade, and took a regular walk out. With the offskin shades in full view to everyone, I walked to the bus stop. Weather had already took a turn by the time I made my way to lunch, hence no one stopped in the torrental rain. At the bus stop, due to the wind conditions, everyone was anxiuous to get on their bus before getting fully drenched even under shelter. Hence no sight detected on my hosed legs.
Bus came after a short wait and I took the available seat with a wide legroom. There, I crossed my legs, American style which allowed them to be in full view of anyone who walks to the rear of the bus.
At arrival at the mall, I walked past many elder folks seated near the entrance, with my hosed legs in full view, but I didn't not bother and kept the confident walk going. By this time, my rain-drenched hosed legs have been dried by body heat, leaving on the berms still partially wet.
Originally, I had intended to look for a pair of simple shoes to change into, but for this shade of hose, nothing nice I've found. Hence, I went to get to what I needed, but as it wasn't available at this outlet, I took the metro and went to another outlet. As usual, passed by many commuters, noticed some took notice but I didn't bother even when I entered; instead, just took the centre section since the rides were relatively short between stations.
Reached the station of another outlet, nothing found and went back to the previous station's and got what I needed. I took my time to browse through the section which had a few female patrons, got my stuff and left the place. Took the bus ride back as it was a more comfortable journey back, considering the rainy weather conditions.
Alighted at my bus stop upon arrival, having to pass a passenger seated outside me but noticed there were no sightings done on me. Took a normal walking pace across the road in full view of stopping motorists, laborers at road works, and up home.
Here's what's taken during the hosed journey:

Outdoor Hose Report: Smoking it Grey
Since I have some time lately, I decided to hose out in the Smoky Pearl shade of Propeds Sheer Support for my visit to the world of books. Slipped this hose on and matched off with a pair of white, grey striped berms and double folded it so as to show more hosed legs. With this measure, I'm sure it'll build up hose confidence. As it's a tricky shade, the only available matching footwear was my Flips Bare grey boat shoes. Topped it off with a light blue body fitting tee and off I went.
Footed my way to the bus stop in the hot sunny day, with smoky pearl hosed legs in full view of everyone whose sight might land on this, but I didn't bother and went to wait at the bus stop. Bus arrived shortly and found my seat, which is along the sides of the bus; that made my hosed legs "available for viewing" in full view of everyone. However, in a shaded area, the color doesn't show up alot so it's pretty alright.
Soon, I reached my location. The world of books was a short walk away so that left my hosed legs in more full view as I made my way there. As I walked past several pedestrians, I noticed that none of them seemed to take notice of it.
Spent a few hours in there with a couple of washroom breaks. Even so, no one noticed it so I went on with my business. As time approached to get home, I made my way out at a peak commuting hour, which will put my legs into full view once again. Since it's non-sunny, I kept those sunnies off and walked normally to the bus stop, made my way back and walked in full view to the passengers of the bus I alighted from, which stopped at the same traffic crossing I had to pass.
Here's a collage of the hosed legs shots:

Hoseerrand & Dr Hose
Errands done through the slightly sunny day, a few rounds around the grocer’s and back. Stayed in the this pair of hose the whole day while doing chores, till it was time for a cleanup. That was when I had to bring partner to see a doctor as she was feeling a little unwell.

The Remote Hosed Journey so far
Outdoor Hose Report - Drizzly Wrapup
The last day of the work week and welcomed by a drizzly rainy. As it is one of the earlier out days in this remote location, I went on with the last hoseout for this week. Found a Gents in the office tower and made my change there. Today's hoseout is in a pair of Funfit Suntan shade sheer to waist pantyhose with beige berms and green striped top.
Took the walk out in the nearest proximity from the "hostile area", which isn't flagged as such today being the fact I am not in offskin shade hose. Walked past the pretty crowded 1st level which are lined with eateries, commuting office workers and took my path to take my transport home. There was a slight drizzle, so probably that's one reason no one noticed my hosed legs, or possibly that everyone's busy making their way around. The moment of walking through clusters of office workers felt like bravely hosing out in CBD, as this place is identical with the setup.
Walked to the bus stop, through a mall, which is packed with commuting workers, boarded the bus which took me direct to a transiting hometown. The bus was already less crowded by the time I reached my destination. As it is a skintone shade, it's less prominent, but there is a higher gloss at certain angles as compared to Proepeds.
Transited via a train to my hometown, crossing roads and pedestrians in the wet weather, and soon, home James.

Extended Outdoor Hoseout
Since the workplace will be relocated somewhere a little remote, this means that more time will be dedicated to a longer hoseout after work.
The travel time will be extended considerably; first of all, to familiar myself with the environment, where I can change out to casuals conveniently, and the shade tolerance of hose since this is an area which technically is "hostile", and the fastest way out is only by the solo subway station which serves the area.
Longer journeys can also mean that I can possibly have more time getting this blog updated with what's mentally jotted but yet to be published. Keep reading and I'll fill these entries up.

Outdoor Hose Report - Quiet Hosed Evening
An evening where partner had dinner appointment with colleagues so I had to find my own program after work. After the routine fitness regime, I decided to head out since the mall in hometown had absolutely nothing much to see, though it was a short duration before the shop I intend to visit, will close. Been looking around for some casual leggings as trousers, which could form my next outdoor attire, complete with hosiery.
Wore a ribbed blue top, Propeds Elegant All Sheers, Beige shade, with pale blue linen berms, matched off with Flips Bare Pinstripe Denim blue boat shoes and took the subway to the nearby town. It's surprising to see quite a number of people around, though some of the shops are already closing pretty soon. Went to the shop I wanted to drop by, but found the leggings of too small a fit for me, hence decided to walk aorund to another shop. The variety of leggings there too, are limited, hence I didnt manage to get anything even after hearing the pre-closure annoucement.
Moved off to another area and found nothing I am looking for, so i guess, it was more like a reccee trip rather than fruitless. Considering the time I had dropped by, it probably wasn't too adequate for any extensive shopping or hosewalk. Anyhow, walking around at this hour in hose openly is a great experience. And it definitely feels great to be wearing them out freely.
Short trip done, took the subway back and a short walk brought me back home. Not much crowds seen in my hometown as most are either home or out in downtown for a Saturday evening.

Outdoor Hose Report - Work on Mobile and Hosed
One of the earlier Saturday mornings that I headed out and waited to a cafe while partner is on a periodical short term work on a non-official working day. Since I had the attire for the evening's short hose walk worn for a short period, I decided to use back the same attire and hose. So I had my Propeds Elegant All Sheers in Beige shade, matched with a ribbed blue top, pale blue linen berms and Flips Bare Pinstripe Denim blue boat shoes.
It was a rather sunny morning when we headed out so my hosed legs were soft to the look under the bright sunlight; it was meant to be a light shade look since that was the overall appearance.
Took the subway down to town, settled myself with an ice blended drink in a quiet corner of the cafe and did some work remotely. It was a quiet morning considering this wasn't a workng day for most people, hence I was probaly the 3rd customer when I found my way in. A couple of cleaning staff of the main building could be seen moving around outside; with the clear glass panel of the cafe, my hosed legs can't be hidden from anywhere, though far much less in the train.
After partner was done with work, we headed down to a famous stall for some local old trade food; past a few pedestrians after crossing the main junction near her workplace, trotted through a few pavements and found the place to eat. It was early but was getting crowded due the fame and popularity of the food served here. Once done with lunch, walked over to a place for some desserts before heading the way back via an interlinked bus route to the main subway line. In both subway directions, I had to stand in the middle between the 2 seated rows in the cabin; that put my hosed legs in full view of those seated behind me, as there were barely any passengers standing in the same area as I do. That didn't bother me as it was already a regular attire for me when I am outdoors.
Upon arrival in hometown, ran some errands at the grocers before heading home. It was a good half day out with lots of hosed legs exposure, without worrying or bothering who will notice it. A short walk and home James.

Outdoor Hose Report - Grey for a Change
One of the usual Mondays at work, but decided to something different for the offskin shade hoseout after work. Usually I’ll start the week with an offskin shade such as the Nutmeg shade Propeds Sheer Supports, but this time round, I decided to swap the day of grey hose.
Matched the Smoky Pearl shade with my regular attire (picture hyperlink via Flickr for white muscle tee with vertical stripes berms) at the Gents’ outside the “hostile area” while taking an alternative route. The weather’s been sunnier lately hence this shade makes the legs look rather flattering. Unlike Sparrow, which is a little too heavy and pallid, this is the 2nd shade after Nutmeg which I personally liked.
Took the alternative route and stopped at a crowded traffic junction. As it was an evening sun, the heatiness isn’t so blazing, yet bright and comfortable. Hence, sunnies are not required, and I’ve got used to wearing offskin shade hosiery without hiding my eyes. Afterall, hosing out and meant to be seen should be part and parcel of regular dressing since I started this.
As usual, there were a handful of students, working class who finishes earlier like me, and some others who are probably retires or homemakers, as well as tourists. There were a couple of Caucasians standing near me; green man on, overtook a couple of slower walkers, passed oncoming pedestrians and soon, reached the subway. There were a couple of females distributing flyers but they probably didn’t notice I was grey-hosed. Down the escalator, past a few shops, more oncoming commuters and boarded the metro at my regular gate. As I reached the station of main line back, I took the stand near the door, and could sense the guy standing near was taking an extended glance at my grey hosed legs. That didn’t matter, as I was occupied on my phone, and proceeded to walk out as usual, transiting and reaching my hometown.
Waited at the light rail platform without any special notice and soon, I was taking a walk home, passing a school and pedestrians. A short walk and home James.

Outdoor Hose Report - Browning it Longer
A mundane day of work done and here's the moment I've been waiting or - hosing out, and this time, back to the Propeds Sheer Support, Chocolate shade, matched with long sleeved casual shirt, Uniqlo Airism lounge shorts in blue camoflauge and heavy look walking shoes. I had brought a pair which looks Taupe in shade, but the material and yarn construction suggests that they won't hold up well after putting them on.
Took the alternative route as usual - a standard practice when I am in offskin shade hose. Passed a large open area and avoided a scam chairty worker by shutting him off, made my way towards the traffic light and stood ant the area nearest to the road. There were many commuters who arrived after me but that didn't matter. The sun this evening was brighter yet casting a warmer light, which made my chocolate shaded legs look warmer.
Crossed the road and passed oncoming commuters which most were tertiary students (their more trendy dressing served as a guide), headed to the nearby hawker centre for an early refuelling since I won't have dinner company tonight. Took the overhead tunnel, passed many off duty crowd and students roaming through the mall and found my way out from the other side of the road. Took my usual route to the hawker centre, had my meal and exited through a rickshaw rider-infested area which I didn't bother if they were looking at my hosed legs.
Soon, I made my way through the tunnel and boarded the transiting train. Working class commuters could be seen, but most of them are either engaged in their conversation or cellphones so there were no extended staring noticed. The length of this shorts/pants are afterall, made not to show so much skin, especially when I'm in offskin shades.
Feeling pretty confient today so far since I made my way around openly without sunnies. This shade proved much better as compared to Sparrow, which matching gets a little tricky. The ride on the main route was quite alright since there aren't much space around for my hosed legs to be seen. In any case, I have already made it a point for the hosiery to be seen with my attire hence I'm not a little worried about this getting seen.
Took the walk openly across the road after reaching my hometown, passing bicycle squads of foreign labor workers, home James.

Outdoor Hose Report - Chocolatey Hosed Down
Did some lunch hour shopping and picked up a pair of very breathable capris, Uniqlo Airism blue camoflauge patterned loungewear, which will help a lot in the stuffy weather lately, and also as a replacement for garments in my wardrobe. I had previously tried this on but didn’t quite like the length. But after consideration of today’s attire match without having a need to reveal too much hosed legs, this length will do.
After work, changed ( at a Gents away from the “hostile area”) into my black printed tee and slipped on this pair of capris. I had a pair of heavy built Power hiking shoes on so it’s going to deemphasize attention to my hosed legs. Ankle socked today since the shoes do rise up to my ankles a little (and also in view of protecting hosiery from any possible rough edges in footwear).
Took my walk; to the nearby mall via an alternative route. This time, I had no sunnies on and walked normally without bothering who’s going to look. As I was at the traffic junction getting ready to cross the route, I stood nearer to the motorists who are stopped by the red light, just doing my stuff (randomly checking smartphone and looking around) till it was time to cross the road. Passed several commuters of both genders, through the eatery-lined mall, and then in the open to the underground metro. Kept my gaze in the direction of where I was headed to or just looking natural like anyone else, and soon, I was already down in the metro platform waiting for the transit line. I took my usual position where commuters seated could see my hosed legs at eye level and boarded the metro when it arrived.
Male commuters were standing opposite or beside me in the intersection space I was in, but I doubt anyone was looking. As I reached the transit station, which was a short walk to the connecting line, I overtook many and came across many oncoming commuters who were all engaged in their own activities. Since the entrance was crowded at my usual spot, I had to enter another door which was less crowded. As the train went on its journey and more commuters could be seen alighting, the sight of my chocolate hosed legs become more prominent via the empty space which widened before a bigger group of commuters boarded. Through my observation, no one really bothered, so be it.
Soon I reached my station and transited to the light rail which will bring me to my home direct. Hit the grocer’s, walking through the brightly lit store, got my stuff and paid at the self-checkout stations. As the machine had some issues after I made payment, a female staff came forward to assist and everything went on as normal. Took my purchases and walked back home, crossing the road, passing oncoming parents with their schooling kids, overtaking some female pedestrians and soon, home James.

Outdoor Hose Report - Possible Notice
Another busy day done with night classes, hence headed for dinner after the quick changeup, into Elegance Creations Support Tights, BE4 shade with pale red line berms, doublerolled up, complete with Flips Bare Classic Grey boat shoes.
Went to the world of books for my usual revision. As the tables were usually occupied, I took the reading singular couch as it was of a more suitable position for reading/writing. Althought the neutral white light illuminated my hosed legs well, everyone was engaged with their own reading, hence even though there were people walking past, none took notice.
Today's lesson required some description of our seatmates' attire, hence I got a little concerned as I have been hosing up for quite sometime since I started classes. Anyhow, that section went by smoothly without my seatmate having to describe that garment I wore, or at least, it was unnoticeable.
Phew, what a closed, hosed shave; at the back of my mind I thought, no one probably will take notice. As I was seated at the back row, exiting the class required me to walk through the narrow centre aisle, but even my female teacher and classmates didn't give any unusual glances when I moved out, hence I presumed it was all good.
Took the usual walk to the subway station passing crowds of late hour commuters and tourists, through the ride and then the slow walk home. Everyone was as usual, engaged in conversations or their smart devices so there werent anything unusual.
Up the unoccupied elevator after the pavement walk, home James.

Attire-Hose Color (Offskintone Hosiery)
Skintone shades are generally easier to go about with anything. Like the usual saying goes: ‘find a shade closest to your natural skintone’ works well for most of us, but for those who wish to optimize the full spectrum of what hosiery makers do, this will probably not apply.
In this part, we go to the “hose route less ventured” by most of us male hose wearers who are already comfortable and confident wearing skintone shade hosiery out with your berms or shorts. Not forgetting those who cycle/jog with hosiery!
The offskin shades generally makes the legs stand out, so there are a few factors which we may want to consider when hosing out in these:
How brave are you?
What is the color look you want to portray (fashionastias come in!)?
I’ve learnt from a few experience male wearers that have done offskin shades confidently out, for example, Andreas, whose patterned offskin hosiery attire are simply awesome, especially for the conservative Asian society. Check out his blog http://legwearfashionformen.blogspot.com
The idea I have here is to bring attention away from the legs rather than drawing to them, so white attire with black hosiery are definitely a no-no. I’ll split into a couple of scenarios here for easier illustration:
Light Look
Propeds Sheer Support, Nutmeg, Smoky Pearl shade
For these pale shades hosiery, I’d match with the following attire:
Top: Black Tee / Printed Black Crew Neck long sleeves with grey trims
Bottom: Slimcut grey berms (default or rolled up depending on how much hosed legs you want to show)
Footwear: Flips Bare Pin Stripe Denim boat shoes / CottonOn Emblem Grey Canvas loafers
Medium Look
Propeds Sheer Support, Chocolate
This shade is tricky hence I have only matched with the following so far during a trail:
Top: Blue, Silver variant horizontal striped tee on black
Bottom: Black with grey checked lines knee length cargos, default length. Rolling up isn’t advisable in view of the hosiery shade
Footwear: CottonOn Emblem Grey Canvas loafers
Dark Look
The darker shades in this spectrum consists of the following in my inventory:
Propeds Sheer Support, Sparrow, Shadow, Black
Womanderie Anti Embolism Pantyhose, Black
My best and probably the most daring was in the following attire with Propeds Sheer Supports in Black:
Top: Blue, Silver variant horizontal striped tee on black
Bottom: Su.Soku Seamless Ankle Length leggings, black
Footwear: Power PlayOn slip on runners with neon linings
The last attire had a good way to bring attention away from the leg with the heavier and bulker looking shoes.
Attire-Hose Color (Skintone Hoisery)
Today I’ll be a little more focused by talking about what I usually do when hosing out in public, attirewise. As I’m not a fashionastia, my focus is usually on combination of colors on attire and foot wear to match the hosiery shade I wear out. We’ll be sticking to the skintone spectrum this time round.
For example, if I’ve decided to look brighter on pale colors, the hosiery shade I’ll select will be in the Beige or identical range, which consists of the following hosiery:
Propeds Sheer Support / Elegant All Sheers, Beige Shade
Astigu Strength Support Pantyhose, Color 152
For these pale shades hosiery, I’d match with the following attire:
Top: White muscle tee with grey trims
Bottom: Pale blue linen berms (doublerolled up)
Footwear: Wakai/Flips Bare Pin Stripe Denim boat shoes
Darker shade hosiery consists of the following in my inventory:
Propeds Sheer Support, Tan, Suntan
Propeds Elegant All Sheers, Suntan
Funfit Support Pantyhose, Suntan
Su.Soku Sheer Support Pantyhose, Color 803
For these pale shades hosiery, I’d match with the following attire:
Top: Red tee
Bottom: Khaki berms with fine black dots (doublerolled up)
Footwear: Wakai/Flips Bare Pin Stripe Denim boat shoes
The idea was to have the hosiery shade complimented with the overall attire. More will be discussed in the next post so stay tuned!
Full Attire Shootout 1: Offskinshades & Berms
Found a good space in my cosy home for this shoot. As I’ve never done this, I decided to go for just a few simple poses and put them together in a collage. Hosiery shadeswise:I’m doing offskin shades today since it’s something which I have ventured into more after being confident with skintone shades.

Outdoor Hose Report - Paling it Down
Had dinner, freshed up and took a glance through my hosiery inventory. Since Astigu 強 wasn't worn often, I decided that it'll be this pair tonight. Slipped into Color 152 of this make, complete with grey-trimmed white muscle tee, pale blue linen berms double rolled, and Flips Bare Pin Stripe Denim Blue boat shoes. The shade looked pretty alright in the neutral white light so here it goes.
Took the lift down and then a walk to the bus stop that brings me to the more bustling town centre which is about 30mins bus ride from hometown. As the bus interior was also brightly lit in neutral white light, the hosed legs appear more prominent, however, I didn't let it bother me and went to upper deck. Not many passengers in this direction as everyone was on their way back via the opposite direction.
Paling it Down: Astigu 強 in Color 152 with matching attire. Source: Instagram |
After I was done with the hose walk, I headed to the "advance" bus stop to ensure guaranteed seating i the bus as it was away from town centre. As the bus stop was less crowded, I decided to snap some shots of my hose legs. While there are passing pedestrians, none of them were bothered at what I was doing, hence I managed to snap some till I was quite satisfied with what I saw.
A short journey back after boarding the well-lit bus, passing commuters and getting to where I wanted to seat. No one bothered to the best of my observation about the less "natural" skintone shade of my hosed legs this evening.
Soon I reached the alighting point, took the brave walk down and ignoring if standing commuters will look at my hosed legs from behind. A short walk and soon I was home James.

Offskin Shades Roundup
Its been awhile since I wrote due to a busier schedule, but something written is better than nothing written.
With the recent stock up of off skintone shade hosiery, and the experimentation of hosing out with matchable attire color matches, I deduced that the darker shades, such as Chocolate, Shadow and Sparrow aren't too suitable due to the tricky of color nature. The rule of avoiding looking like a dork still is the best to follow.
So far, the suitable shades in this range are:
Smoky Pearl
Soft and gentle shade of grey. It's the lightest shade for this make.
Nutmeg
A hue of taupe but on a mild shade; have been informed by peers that it's almost invisible so it's one shade you can wear out without being too obviously hosed if that's what you go for. Personal observation is that it becomes more obvious under electrical light/and after sunset.
Black
Classiest shade which I love too, but it's usually the support and insulating range on regular working days. Have only done one hoseout so far in this, with black opaque leggings for an errand run. Check out my entry here(hyperlink to be available soon).
The shades discussed in this post refer to Propeds Sheer Support range, which by far are the easiest available locally. I've yet to explore other makes in offskin shades yet, so I'll continue wearing what's in my inventory till I find something.
For the guys out there who are hosing up, keep hosing, and be confident in going out with it!

Outdoor Hose Report - Warming it Off
Since I've already done offskin shades public before, this is no unusual feat. Decided to match it off with my favourite slimcut berms, green striped top and slipped on Propeds Sheer Support Pantyhose, in Nutmeg shade, complete with my regular walking CottonOn loafers which are showing signs of wear and tear. Today's hose are matched off with ankle length socks to counter the slipoff issue with lowcut socks.
As it was an offskin shade which still doesn't look too deviative, I decided to do the change at the regular premises as soon as I was done with the working day. Walked past a few kitchen crew who were taking their rest time behind the restaurant which was also the walkway to my train station, I walked past them as usual without bothering if they will glance at at my hosed legs, no doubt being quite close in the narrow pathway.
Reached the train station, standing in queue along with others as usual in the crowded platform, while taking notice of my surroundings. Everyone were preoccupied hence the journey back went on without any usual "lockon" signs.
As the train was getting crowded during this timing, I took stand at the cabin area as the intersection can get quite packed in the limited standing space. Though I was facing some female passengers seated, I realized they were all either snoozing, chatting or fiddling with their smartphones. The hue of this shade made my legs a little purple-grey in the dimmer train due to the crowd buildup.
Upon alighting, and walking in the bright daylight of the evening, the shade still made my legs flattering to the look. Past a school, parents, schoolchildren and finally reached home. There were others who boarded the lift during the lift journey, but non of them looked as they immediately faced the front after boarding.

Hosetalk - Perception vs Conviction
There has been alot of talks about hosiery not being right for men all over. It's definitely the society's conservative perception that hosiery is associated with feminism.
However, like many men, they swear by the fact that men can have great legs in hosiery too, and there's definitely nothing wrong to wear them out openly.
After that dive I took with black leggings and sheer hosiery, I decided that there shouls be no restriction even in colors when wearing them out. What matters is if the combination matches the overall dressing appearance in terms of colors and/or textures and/or (for the fans of textured/patterned hosiery) of the wearer. None of us would want to hose out, looking like a dork.
Keep hosing up and stay confident!

The Grey Silky Area
For the past few days, I have been rummaging articles, images in Google to find out how color matching with clothing & footwear will make the attire flattering than looking like a dork.
Just chanced upon this site where you can search for attire by hosiery color, location, gender etc:
lookbook.nu
You can simply type in "tights" and hit Search; from there, you can see some filter options.

Here's one picture from Lookbook which I think the hosiery color matches really well with attire. The shade reminds me of Smoky Pearl from Propeds:

Here's one with a country touch:
Not forgetting there are also guys in grey hose too! Although it's not my favourite sheers, I think it's still a good match and bold step out:

This is one piece construction waist down, as compared to several assembly sections on a regular pantyhose.
Ultra wide and two ply waistband, this is by far the most comfortable waistband. The width is wide enough that it doesn’t roll down for an average build wearer.
Panty
There is no center seam down the middle like most pantyhose, making it extremely comfortable. This is especially comfortable for male wearers.
Sandal toe like most sheer to waists, which sport this style. The foot shape is not formed so the fit isn’t as perfect as those with this build
Yarn
The yarn feels a little thick considering this is 20 denier. Quite stretchy and fits well.
Durability: 7/10 (estimated wear count: 10 and counting)
Fit: 7/10
Overall, this is comfortable pair of hosiery. Unfortunately, the Nude shade isn’t suitable hence I didn’t wear this out. Special care to be taken for the panty area as seamless make, the price is pretty reasonable which is worth considering.
